Dyslexia – why, when it is so common does it take so much effort to get help?

After changing schools, talking to lots of teachers, doing research, asking lots of questions, paying out £100s, talking for hours and hours to friends and family, lobbying current school (who have been fab) securing the services of a private tutor and much more…for the first time ever today my daughter (7) asked if she could read to me :))) it sounds simple, but it made my day, my week, my month, my year :)))

#dyslexia why when it is *so* common does it take that much effort to get something done?
