Saving Bletchley Park: A Campaign That Made History
In 2008, Bletchley Park, birthplace of modern computing and home of the WWII codebreakers, was falling into disrepair. It had changed the course of history, yet risked being forgotten.
So I started a campaign, and amazingly, after 3 years, against the odds, we saved it.
Through blogs, social media, national press and grassroots activism, we raised awareness, funding and support from every corner of the UK and beyond.
This campaign not only preserved a national treasure, it showed the world what collective action, especially led by women, can achieve in tech and beyond.
“Saving Bletchley Park wasn’t just about history. It was about honouring the unheard voices who shaped the future”
The story became a bestselling book and a defining moment in digital activism.
